HUMAN REFLUX
With titles embracing a ‘hickerbilly’ interpretation of the physical man-handling of food, “Human Reflux” is a three-part set of drawings focused on Missouri reptiles that are visually manipulated and exaggerated to emphasize the awareness of mindless consumption within the living world.
MUD PUPPIES
Mud Puppies is a tribute to the critically endangered Ozark Hellbender, an aquatic salamander native to Missouri. The original artwork will be on display for public viewing at Soulard Art Gallery beginning May 29th through July 5th during their “Art in Honor of Nature” exhibition.
GUSANO
Inspired by marketing strategies in the 1940s and ‘50s used to increase mezcal sales, this Badger has twisted the story of a beloved gimmick and produced a MacGyver dog to retell the plotline of its origins.
